Monthly Memo (September 2022), an update on the Einsteinium Foundation's strategic initiatives

To the Einsteinium Community,

We are pleased to update you on the progress we are making with the Einsteinium Foundation’s strategic plan. As you are aware from our previous monthly memo’s, Einsteinium Foundation August 2022 Memo, our strategic priorities are in place and we are putting the finishing touches on the initiatives that will help us reach our current goals, with our directed focus on the release of Milevium (MIL).

As part of our strategic plan, we also will be launching and reinforcing a couple other initiatives. Some of these initiatives are already underway, like the Annual EMC2 award or the Einsteinium Fellowships. Others will take a longer view, like reviewing and improving our funding mechanisms to meet future expectations for our organization, and recruiting team members and world-class scientists to be a part of our scientific review and advocacy programs. Taken together, these initiatives will result in meaningful advances in our operations at the Einsteinium Foundation.

Altogether, our work is the product of broad engagement across the Einsteinium Foundation and our community and many, many hours of dedicated hard work, some of which we highlighted in our 2021 and 2020 annual letters.

They spearheaded the early growth, innovation, and assessment phase of our organization. Previous leadership was complemented and supported by the developers, community engagers, strategic planners, and senior leaders who focused on our vision for the Einsteinium Foundation, and which oversaw and facilitated the strategic development process. These groups were assisted by widespread input and participation throughout the community, including numerous conversations and brainstorming sessions. In light of this, we invite members of our community to complete a short survey https://bit.ly/3Sv9Zwf for us to receive feedback on our progress to date.

While we currently have limited information available at the MIL staging website, https://www.emc2.foundation/mil, look for the launch of the new website next month. It will be a record of our process, a repository for our plan, links to our source-code, and a source of updates on our progress moving forward. Importantly, we are very close to announcing a snapshot date for MIL, our new MIL website will host additional details of this major milestone. I look forward to sharing it and hope that you will visit the website regularly to review the steps of our plan and check on our progress in moving our strategic initiatives forward. We also invite everyone to follow MIL on social media with our Twitter at: twitter.com/mileviumcoin

We are very excited about our collective work and know that it will better prepare the Einsteinium Foundation to meet the challenges facing us. While these challenges may feel daunting, they also present a unique opportunity to shape an ambitious future. We are proud of the advances we have made thus far and look forward to continuing to work together as a community to implement our plan and position EMC2 and MIL as a leader in the scientific blockchain space. In doing so, we will remain true to our enduring mission while we chart a bold course forward.

We hope that you will join us on this journey.

Signed,

Leadership of the Einsteinium Foundation
